Daycare Photo Journal

July 2009: Much is going on at PDX! We've taken up the sad old commercial carpeting, painted walls, floors, and doors, stripped, stained, and sealed concrete, and redesigned the retail area. Our new flowers, trees, and bushes are thriving, and brightening up each day for both the dogs and the folks. We also have two big events in July: Billy is leaving us after 2 1/2 years of service to answer the call of the Army Reserves. He'll be shipping out for Iraq at the end of the month. Our sparkle will be leaving us, and we will be bereft. But you should stop by on July 24th between 5 and 6:30 for cupcakes and bon voyages. On a happier note, Be will be celebrating her 75th birthday, officially on July 14th, but we will be partying down and whoopin' it up for the entire month and beyond. Seventy-five! And she's still workin' for a living at PDX, teaching 3 yoga classes a week, and reading 20 books a month. Good on her! Enjoy the pictures on the left and wish her a happy whenever you come in.
