Daycare Photo Journal

June 2008: O me, O my, where to start. Big goings on at PDX, BIG goings on. I get all wore out just thinking about it, but here's the condensed version: Kayla has left us to follow her husband-to-be to new and exotic ports (aka Dixon, TN). We wish her the very best and miss her terribly. Billy has abandoned us to do his National Guard duties until the end of June. We're pretty sure we need him more than the army does. After all, what's another MP compared to our Billums regaling us all over the PDX airwaves? On a happier note, Ashley has returned from her procreational activities, much to Annabelle's great joy. We successfully completed our job search and located four new excellent PDX staffers: Brad, Clynton, Jan, and Amanda are all learning the ropes and trying to tell the difference between Lucy, Izzy, Willie, Dooley, Zoe, Shag, Bailey, Brutus, and Belle. Angie had a rough week at the end of May, but her brand spanking new kennel is open for business and going gangbusters. We had a wonderful open house with about 200 visitors on May 31st, and extra special thanks to Kimberly, Beverly, Judy, Nan, Sandra, and Lynn for leaping into the fray and making it awesome. Lynnette has been whirling around the arena with an unnaturally fiendish glee - painting, sanding, spackling, dry walling, pounding, fixing, and sprucing. It's beginning to look quite spectacular. All that, plus another class session started, with the introduction of an incredibly popular (and urgently needed!) class that focuses only on recalls (COME!), all proceeds from which are going directly to improvements in Jessie's Small Wonders Play Land (aka little dogs), compliments of Nancy Cambron. So we don't have much extra time to get into too much trouble. Of course, we do understand that all that human stuff is ever so boring. All the dogs really care about is that it's warm enough for water sports again. Hope you enjoy this month's pictures. They really do love to splish around! -- Bev
