Daycare Photo Journal

November 2007: Well, it's the 20th of the month, and I finally have a moment to update this poor neglected web site. Breathe, breathe, good air in, bad air out... <g> Fall is a big time for dog events, and PDX has been in the thick of it. We participated in the Humane Educational Society fundraiser, Paws in the Park, the McKamey fundraiser, the Stray Cat Strut, and Habitat for Humanity's Everyone Deserves a Habitat. We hosted AKC obedience and rally trials, NAFA flyball tournaments, and an AKC agility match. Cris finished his Excellent Master Agility title, Mic finished his Companion Dog title, and Nancy put a Rally leg on that Frenchie, Renoir. Speaking of which, several of our daycare dogs have worked hard and done well. See the Brags page for full details, but we're especially proud of Sobe, Noelle, PDQ, Peeve, Theodore, and Danny. All that, plus we finished up the business plan and drawings on the kennel expansion plan, and we're out courting banks and the Small Business Association to help us make it real. Very exciting, very rewarding, and very exhausting! Happily, there are plenty of goofy grins and wagging tails to perk us up when we're feeling run-down. Sort of gives a whole new spin to on-the-job stress reduction. Y'all have a terrific Thanksgiving, and save time for resting!  -- Bev
