Daycare Photo Journal

April 2007: So I had this great idea for an April Fools edition of the PDX Post, but, sadly, never found the time to make it happen. Still, we had a lot of fun coming up with ideas. We planned to announce the winners of the Tail Whoopin' contest: Jack and Patten came out on top, naturally, both in singles and in brace, but Max, Buddy, and Ford all won honorable mentions. We also hoped to announce the receipt of several grants from the National Endowment of the Arts for some of the very creative poop sculptures that are crafted in the play yards. Sophie would win hands down for her rendition of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Sobe's interpretation of the Beatle's Long and Winding Road may cause controversy in some quarters, but based on their past choices, we believe we could convince the NEA that it is, indeed, Art. Of particular interest to small dog owners would be the low-down on how mild-mannered Scarlett led the Revenge of the Little Dogs, which ended with Leanne getting a timeout of her own. And, of course, we would include the latest on the shocking scandal under investigation by city and state authorities: just what exactly does go on at doggie daycare. Once again, Sophie would take a headline, with Sterling, Greta, Lily, Cate, and Annabelle also under investigation. There was more, but you get the general idea. Maybe it's best that I ran out of time after all! Have a lovely April - I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as the dogs enjoyed modeling for them! -- Bev
