Daycare Photo Journal
August 2006:
Dog days, indeed. The thermometer on the scrolling marquis at the Red
Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church reads 101, which explains the
plethora of doggie tongues in this month's gallery. I say to Nancy,
"Let's have some action shots!" She says, "Knock yourself out, Skippy.
Me and my dogs are sitting over here under the canopy." And so it goes.
Still, the wheels are turning:
Mic and Cris participated in the ground
breaking of the new
McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center, lots of great dogs passed
their Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog
tests, classes are filling, and we've got an application in to AKC for
club status (PDX Dogsports of Greater Chattanooga, no less!). We're
doing the groundwork on a business plan to build a high-end kennel and
groom shop. Plans and construction are underway for the Open House to
unveil our Little Dog projects: the Small Wonders Play Land and the
Greens at PDX. That'll be September 22nd, and we'll hope to see you
there. The only sadness is that Carrie has left us to pursue her new
married life and professional career. I'm not terribly distraught
though. My money says she'll be back!! <g> -- Stay cool out there!
