Daycare Photo Journal
July 2006:
A short parable: Once upon a time there was a dragged out, ragged out,
worn down, drug down corporate employee whose every day was racked with
status meetings, and budget reviews, and endless project planning sessions, none of which actually accomplished anything.
The pay was good, but then, it would have to be to keep otherwise
rational people staggering in each morning for yet another round of
banging their own heads against the corporate wall. So one day, our
intrepid employee lifted her slightly squashed noggin away from said
wall and yelped, "Stop the madness! I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to
take it any more!", and several other unoriginal, but quite
inspirational sayings. She looked around and found several other
intrepid people, of like mind and with aching heads, who were brave
enough to leap across the corporate wall into the Land of Small
Business. There, they discovered that quality simply flowed from caring,
and satisfaction from accomplishment, and success from experience,
diligently applied. And, also, that there were just enough truly
remarkable people in Chattanooga to keep their enterprising little dog
daycare and training business happily humming along. Thanks to our
wonderful customers for supporting us and staying with us at least to
this, our very first break-even month!! The end. - Bev
